Faqs Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain Full Day

What is the reason for the colors of the Vinicunca mountain?

The coloration of the mountain of the 7 colors or Vinicunca is natural and is due to the richness of minerals that houses its soil, product of sedimentary rocks, these colors are appreciated thanks to the erosion of the soil.

What is the best time for the Vinicunca 1 day tour?

Some tourists return to Vinincunca with the disappointment of finding it covered in snow, without the colors and shades that characterize it.

This occurs mainly during the rainy season (November to March). During these months, the rainfall from the rivers and the climate cause the Seven Colors Mountain to be covered with snow.
